Health advice for older people

It is important for older people to have regular checkups with their GP. These should include:

Blood sugar levels (for diabetes)
Cholesterol levels
Blood pressure
Weight

If you smoke, do try to give up.

Breast screening is available for all women up to the age of 70. After this, you can self refer to your local breast screening service.
